Lucky Bean Poetry Night

Join us Monday, August 8th at 6:30 pm for a poetry reading hosted by Lucky Bean Press, followed by an open mic.

This month’s featured reader is Caroline Rowe.

Rowe is a native of New Orleans. Her work has appeared in Califragile, Seems, Adanna, and in the anthology, Maple Leaf Rag (Portals Press). Jabberwock Review named her poem, “Suicide Note of the Tiger Wrangler”, a finalist for the Nancy D. Hargrove Editors’ Prize, and Seems has nominated her “Decatur Street Efficto” for the forthcoming Pushcart Prize. She currently resides in New Orleans with her husband, poet David Rowe, and their Doberman, Iris. She is a graduate of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts’ Creative Writing Program.
