Cider and Signing with Shannon Kelley Atwater

Join us Friday, February 24th 5:00pm – 7:00pm for Cider and Signing with author and illustrator, Shannon Kelley Atwater.

Ms. Atwater will meet and mingle with attendees and sign her book, Goodnight Pothole.

This event is free and open to the public and will take place at Broad Street Cider, located at 2723 S Broad St, New Orleans, LA 70125. Copies of Ms. Atwater’s book, Goodnight Pothole may be purchased during the event.

Goodnight Pothole: In this parody of the classic children’s book Goodnight Moon, all the familiar trappings of a pothole are called out: goodnight cones, goodnight bones. . . . This is a must for the bookshelf of any family with a car.

Shannon Kelley Atwater: Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Shannon Kelley Atwater came to New Orleans in 2005 to attend Loyola University, where she received a BA in visual arts. As has been the case for many other artists before her, the city wrapped her in its magic and she has been here ever since, despite storms and challenges. After college, she sold her art on the fences of Jackson Square and eventually opened a gallery space in the French Quarter to showcase more than fifty different local artists. A member of the Mardi Gras Krewe des Fleurs, Atwater now focuses on family and commissioned art projects.
